At Le Château du Coeur, every stone holds a story—none more compelling than that of its visionary owner, Shannon King. A dynamic leader and resilient entrepreneur, Shannon brings a lifetime of experiences that resonate deeply with the Château’s spirit of renewal and connection.
Shannon's story is one of profound transformation. She was a celebrated corporate executive, known for her commanding presence at the New York Stock Exchange and strategic vision across diverse industries. Her life, however, took an unexpected turn after a serious car accident—forcing her into a challenging two-year recovery to relearn basic skills like walking and speaking. This journey not only tested her resilience but redefined her purpose, shifting her path from corporate achievement to empowering others—especially women—to thrive personally and professionally.
Drawing strength from adversity, Shannon founded the "Flourish & Thrive Lifestyle Company," an impactful coaching and education platform dedicated to women’s growth and empowerment. Today, this passion extends into her new chapter in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, where she aims to nurture a community of inspiration and support at Le Château du Coeur.

Cindy Kreis
Cindy Kreis, Director of Communications at Le Château du Coeur, made a remarkable return from retirement to help couples turn their wedding dreams into reality. With her wealth of experience and dedication to creating unforgettable moments, Cindy is a vital part of the team at Le Château duCoeur, ensuring that every detail is perfectly aligned for each couple's big day.
Originally from Ohio, Cindy and her husband of 45 years, Tom, moved toCharlotte, NC in 2011 to be closer to their family. She enjoys the role of hands-on grandmother to her six cherished grandchildren. Her deep family connections and nurturing spirit are a testament to her heart of service andcommitment to building lasting bonds.
A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, OH, Cindy’s career began at Ford Motor Company, where she worked at the Batavia Transmission Plant. She quickly made her mark by overseeing Communications, Team Building, Events Planning, Video Production and Editing -- even writing, producing, directing and editing a monthly news program for the facility. As her career progressed, Cindy’s leadership abilities led to her transfer to Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, MI, where she played a pivotal role in managing and implementing a standardized communication process. This process, crafted by Cindy and a colleague, was implemented across all manufacturing facilities and depots throughout North America.
Over the course of 35 years, Cindy left behind an extraordinary legacy of professionalism, innovation, and teamwork. Now retired from her corporate career, Cindy brings her wealth of experience to Le Château du Coeur, where she continues to build and foster meaningful relationships with couples. Beyond her professional endeavors, Cindy is deeply involved in her community and dedicates her time to philanthropic efforts. She also leads a Ladies Bible Study in her home twice a month, a testament to her devotion to faith and to nurturing the growth of others.
Cindy’s life reflects a beautiful blend of dedication to family, faith, community, and professional excellence, making her the perfect fit to help couples create a wedding day as remarkable as the love they share.

Michelle Moser
Michelle Moser, the Director of Events & Programming, is one of the passionate forces behind the magic at Le Château du Coeur, grew up in Shelby, North Carolina.
A proud graduate of North Carolina State University and Baylor University, where she earned a masters in Communication, Michelle brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing and event planning to the Château team. Her career has spanned healthcare, education, and the non-profit sector, and she has also served as a university instructor at Gardner-Webb University and Converse University.
Michelle’s true calling, however, lies in helping brides bring their wedding vision to life. From intimate private parties to elegant corporate gatherings, she has curated unforgettable experiences across a variety of settings – but weddings are her favorite.
As a seasoned day-of coordinator and creative planner, Michelle’s signature attention to detail, warm presence, and innovative approach make her an invaluable partner to couples dreaming of a romantic, personalized celebration at Le Château du Coeur.
Michelle lives in Shelby with her husband, Bruce, and their twin daughters, Avery and Annie.
