Shannon's story is one of profound transformation. She was a celebrated corporate executive, known for her commanding presence at the New York Stock Exchange and strategic vision across diverse industries. Her life, however, took an unexpected turn after a serious car accident—forcing her into a challenging two-year recovery to relearn basic skills like walking and speaking. This journey not only tested her resilience but redefined her purpose, shifting her path from corporate achievement to empowering others—especially women—to thrive personally and professionally.
Drawing strength from adversity, Shannon founded the "Flourish & Thrive Lifestyle Company," an impactful coaching and education platform dedicated to women’s growth and empowerment. Today, this passion extends into her new chapter in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, where she aims to nurture a community of inspiration and support at Le Château du Coeur.

Cindy Kreis, Director of Wedding Services at Le Château du Coeur, made a remarkable return from retirement to help couples turn their wedding dreams into reality. With her wealth of experience and dedication to creating unforgettable moments, Cindy is a vital part of the team at Le Château duCoeur, ensuring that every detail is perfectly aligned for each couple's big day.
Originally from Ohio, Cindy and her husband of 45 years, Tom, moved to Charlotte, NC in 2011 to be closer to their family. She enjoys the role of hands-on grandmother to her six cherished grandchildren. Her deep family connections and nurturing spirit are a testament to her heart of service and commitment to building lasting bonds.
A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Cindy began her career with Ford Motor Company, where she developed a strong foundation in communication, organization, and leadership. Her professional journey included time at Ford World Headquarters, where she contributed to large-scale initiatives that required precision, collaboration, and thoughtful execution. Today, Cindy brings those skills to her role at Le Château du Cœur, where her ability to guide couples with clarity, care, and confidence makes wedding planning feel seamless and enjoyable. Her experience allows her to anticipate needs, manage details effortlessly, and help transform each couple’s vision into a beautifully coordinated celebration.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Cindy is deeply involved in her community and dedicates her time to philanthropic efforts. She also leads a Ladies Bible Study in her home twice a month, a testament to her devotion to faith and to nurturing the growth of others.

McKenna King is a recent graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she pursued a degree in Art and Psychology. She currently serves as the Event Director for Château du Coeur, bringing creativity, organization, and heart to every project she leads. "I believe luxury should be experienced, not saved for someday. That’s why I dedicate myself to creating extraordinary events—celebrating your most special moments with intention, beauty, and effortless elegance.”
Passionate about design and community engagement, McKenna aspires to become a designer and play an active role in revitalizing downtown Shelby. Guided by her love for art, connection, and meaningful change, she is dedicated to making the world—and her community—a more vibrant and inspiring place.
